Description: I was going to list these two incredible antique marionettes separately, but they are tangle together for all eternity or until someone who has patients and knows what they are doing can work with them. On the wooden pieces, that I don't know offhand what they are called, one says Babette, the other says Buddy. They are both mohair with glass eyes. Buddy has felt feet and hands...Babette's hands and feet are incredibly detailed leather. She is wearing nail polish and a ring. Buddy is wearing the original glasses that he came to me wearing and a hat that need some repair. OK, in taking the pictures I have them separated...the strings are a mess. There is tape on the stings, a safety pin holding Buddy's leg on. Babette's pearls, dress and outfit aren't attractive but original when she came to me. I can feel inside Buddy's body there are two large pieces of maybe carved wood for his chest. The felt work around their eyes is super well done...there might be other issues...please write and ask questions and request more pictures of whatever area you need more info on.
