It has a lap edge and all mating surfaces are joined with waterproof glue. It's got good thick separators that won't break off with normal use. It comes unfinished so you can stain, paint, seal it as you see fit. It also comes to you ready to mount.... with screws, drywall anchors, plug buttons and adhesive back felt strips for the barrel pockets to apply after finishing.
