These Piher (pronounced like 'Pier') resistors are carbon film resistors, and the brand that Marshall used off and on through the 60's, 70's, and most early to mid 80's Marshall amps have them. They are an excellent choice for whatever application you use them with that requires a resistor. These are very well made, and long lasting resistors. There are thousands of 40+ year old amps with these resistors still occupying their boards that will attest to that! The 1M resistors are also the resistors you need if you're going to replace the input resistor of your Marshall amp. These will match the resistors on your board and will retain the original sound of your amp. I'm selling these resistors "AS-IS" and I do not accept returns.
