Description: Up for sale here is this set of 2 NOS vintage carbon comp resistors. I believe these are 1-watt resistors, from the 1940s or 1950s. They are new old stock--brand new, never used. I think these were made by Central Resistor Corp, which is now Vishay, but they may have been made by another company. These are marked 470 ohms 5% and test a bit higher, around 500 ohms. It's pretty rare to find NOS resistors this old, so grab these while you can! Please see my pictures for details.
