Description: Grindal worms, the tiny cousins of earthworms make an excellent meal for fry up to smaller adult fish! My bettas & khuli loaches rate these guys 10/10! Even if you aren’t breeding your fish, having these easy-to-culture worms is an invaluable form of enrichment for your fishy friends! I feed my worms mostly with any bread I have on hand, smeared with organic Greek yogurt, that has live bacterial cultures, mixed with cooked oats, and some nutritional yeast. Also, the occasional chunk of zucchini or some excess dry fish foods! They also commonly thrive at room temperatures of 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit! Your starter will include many, many, many adults worms and plenty of grindal cocoons (eggs) + some established substrate! Worms will be contained in whatever kind of small recycled container I have available atm to reduce waste! ♻️ If you know nothing about these guys message me for a care guide I recommend to get you started! It is best to be prepared for these little guys before you get them! Worms ship Monday-Wednesday! Please bring them inside as soon as possible! Ice packs are automatically added till Summer is over and regular temps are under 70f! If you are local/can pick up, I have small sized established cultures for $20 😊
