Description: ***1800 IS A RARE MINT ERROR****For your consideration this listing is for 2- half cents, the 1800 draped bust U.S. half cent is a rare mint error. If you examine the photos you will see that this high grade coin has severe lamination issues at the date at 6 extending upward. The coin does exibit some damage at 11. Lamination error is also very prominent in the chin region. Don't know exactly how to price this coin as i've never seen one before. After examining thousands of half cents, this is the only the second one I've seen with lamination error. This being a lot more prominent than the other one I saw.The 1856 with the hole was a Civil War coin worn around the neck of a soldier.
