Description: ROCKY MOUNTAIN POTTERY Small Pine Cone Plates from Loveland Colorado, Handmade Vintage Cute handmade 7" bread/dessert/snack plates with a pine cone motif, from the now-closed Rocky Mountain Pottery, founded in Loveland, Colorado in 1952. The round-shaped plates feature a unique pine cone pattern in brown and green, a brown rim and and are made of a high-quality ceramic material in a cream color with light brown speckles and a glazed finish. The plates are handmade with the natural indentations/marks that come from handmade pieces. One of the plates has the original silver sticker from the pottery on the back. There are no chips, cracks or losses. One plate weighs 12.8 oz, the other weighs 10.8 oz, for a total weight of 1 lb 7.7 oz prior to bubble wrapping, paper, lots of tape and a box.
