Both records were completely play-tested for the vinyl grades above, playing at the top of those grades. Both records seem to be first pressings. James Timothy Hardin (1941-1980) is perhaps the most overlooked of the 1960s Greenwich Village folksingers, even though he appeared at Woodstock. Hardin wrote some great classic songs that are more remembered being covered by others, such as "If I Were a Carpenter", "Misty Roses", "How Can We Hang On To A Dream", and "Reason To Believe." Hardin's soft-spoken manner of singing is a refreshing change of pace. His life was cut short by a heroin overdose in 1980.
