Most of these pieces are straight out of my home. Please take a look at my other auctions. THIS IS A VINTAGE PAIR, NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION!! Wonderful CLEAR vintage c1960's - 1970's chunky clear LUCITE TABLE LAMPS with ORIGINAL LUCITE FINIALS. I have seen a lot of Mid-Century lamps over the years, and this is an EXCEPTIONAL pair, truly STUNNING! A terrific sculptural form, with standing Lucite slabs. Unmarked, as best I can tell, but this pair appears to be the work of either VAN TEAL or KARL SPRINGER. Regardless, this is an exceptional design, certainly worthy of further research. Lamps measure 34 1/4" tall to the tops of the 1" diameter Lucite cylinder finials. The vertical lucite slabs are 13/16" thick! This pair is extremely heavy, with a shipping weight of almost 30 POUNDS! Lamps are in excellent vintage condition, and in working order, with original 3-way switch. Original cords are still soft and pliable, not brittle, and are ready to plug in and use. Clear Lucite is very difficult to photograph. Please excuse the glare and reflections shown in the photos. Lucite is crystal clear, with absolutely no yellowing or internal hairlines, as is often found. No chips, nicks, cracks, or repairs. I have included many large photos, so you can see the incredible condition.
