Pair of vintage Osborne Ivorex plaques made in England. 3 1/2" by 5" oval marked on the bottom edge by A Osborne, this pair shows two Dickens characters from The Pickwick Papers, Sam Weller and Mr Pickwick. Ivorex is made of cast plaster of Paris that has a thin coat of wax that gives the plaque a soft antique look. Both of these plaques have built-in hanging holes with green cording and tassels. Small chip on the edge of Mr Pickwick's frame, both pieces slightly dirty.
