Description: Here is the two volume Everyman’s Library set of Phineas Finn, #832 & #833, by Trollop. This selection is from the Fiction category in the series published by Dent. The books both have Seymour #3 spines, #2 endpapers, and #4 dust jackets that refer to 500 authors and 1000 volumes on the back panels. Seymour scarcities of 3 and 3. First published in the series in 1929, the copyright page indicates these printings are from 1950.The used books have clear spine gilt, clean covers, smooth top stains, and nominal signs of use. Fanning the pages, I noted no underlining or marginalia, no offensive odor, and the bindings are without issue. The unclipped jackets have two or three closed 1/2” tears and one has a small chip at the top of the back panel. Both present nicely, though. See photos. As I draft this, there are no copies of either volume on ABE using either Everyman's or Dent in the search fields. On eBay, I was able to find only one copy of 832 with large pieces of the spine missing (search: "Everymans" "Phineas Finn". Everyman’s Library collector?
