Description: For sale is a pair of vintage ASTRON oil-filled capacitors, left behind in the radio electronics inventory of my late father. He was an active HAM radio operator for over 70 years, and was a radio and other electronics serviceman for most of his life. He had a store of vintage parts for his projects and repairs, and this pair was in the collection. It appears to be in like-new condition, except for some solder residue on one tab of the capacitor (see photo). They are rated at 400 WVDC and 6 microferads. My husband tested them and found it in good condition, with it testing at 6.63. They come with mounting bracket . On the bottom of one bracket is an "S" in a circle.
