Aescin, in a form which penetrates the skin, inhibits the accumulation of fluid in the tissues and reduces tissue swelling. Local swelling, which causes sensations of heaviness and tension, is rapidly eliminated. DOSAGE / DIRECTION FOR USE· Unless otherwise directed, spread a thin layer of the gel onto the skin of the affected area once daily or more frequently. It is not necessary to rub the gel into the skin, but this may be done if desired. CONTRAINDICATIONS· Reparil-N Gel should not be applied to broken skin, mucous membranes or skin areas exposed to radiotherapy. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS· Reparil-N Gel should not come into contact with the eyes.Reparil-N Gel contains diethylamine salicylate and when applied or rubbed onto the skin, can be absorbed through the skin into the blood. For patients taking warfarin, excessive application onto the skin for muscle or joint pains may increase the chances of bleeding.Reparil-N Gel is for external use only.If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for >7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use.Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin.Do not bandage tightly.
