They have a lighter poly weave than the series 65, which creates a nice combo of air flow and particle capture. Collects 75% of particles under 10 mic's and close to 100% of particles larger than 10 mic. I would gauge avg lifespan at about 4 months. Great panel, great price, never a complaint.The Series 66 has an oil based tackifier, creating a more durable veil on the air leaving side, known in the industry as a Dust Lock Filter. Works especially well in high particle/sanding areas of the shop. The 2" CT Series is a thicker intake filter, with almost twice the poly media to collect particles giving a superior lifespan. Spec's are equal to the Series 65, also progressive density. R1 Scrim Backed Premium Intake Filters are designed to provide the highest possible level of performance. The heavy duty scrim backing replaces tackifier on the air leaving side of the panel, creating an almost impenetrable veil. This 3-ply panel captures 95% of particles under 10 mic's.
