The coins in this set feature symbols of each of Australia’s States and Territories, together with coin designs that reflect the vision and talent of Australia’s youth. And symbols of the unity of this vast land.The commonwealth Coast of Arms in full color is depicted on the commemorative 50 cent coin while the logo of the National Council for the Centenary of Federation is shown as a special two-color design on the $1 coin. The pad-printed designs on these two coins are central to the whole collection, representing the unity of Federation and centenary celebrations.The nine other 50 cent coins in this set depict the Coats of Arms of Australia’s States and self-governing Territories. Nine commemorative 20 cent coins feature designs by school students reflecting ideas that the youth of Australia consider to be special about their own State or Territory.
