Although the cards are numbered through card #25, there were only 24 cards inserted in the packs. [Apparently card #3 was intended for Cool Papa Bell, but for whatever reason, those cards were never released by Fleer.] The Henry Kimbo card has no number at all, but is generally understood to be the first card. Cards are clean and sharp, printed on extra thick card stock. Set is loaded with Hall of Famers, including many who had never before appeared on a card from a major card company. I believe the Willie Mays card in this set is the only licensed card that shows him in the uniform of the Birmingham Black Barons. Complete sets of these cards rarely come up on eBay. Cards ship U.S. mail in a padded envelope.
