Description: 2001 NGC MS-69 World Trade Center American Silver Eagle For your consideration ONE extremely rare NGC WTC Recovery 2001 American Silver Eagle The WTC silver eagle you are looking at was originally in a PCGS holder & was gifted to me for my son in 2003 by Bob Lecce the dealer that crossed these into NGC holders Originally slated to be a 500 coin run it is believed that only 20-40 total coins were crossed before NGC pulled the plug on these due to the then controversy that the PCGS WTC coins created 21 years ago NGC made it a policy not to cross anymore WTC coins after the first few & that’s how the ICG 2001 MS-69’s came to be I feel that the artist that did this holder knocked it out of the park when they created the label & in my opinion nicer than the PCGS label My son has has this is in his collection since he was a child, hes grown now and would like to sell off some of his collection to enjoy other interests Im starting this at what I feel is a fair starting bid of $1500 Bid high on a coin that has been seen only a couple times in the last 20+ years!
