Description: This is an old softcover book, 11" x 8 1/2", 205 pages, entitled "Reading - Jersey Central Magazine. Vol. 1, Issues 1 thru 6. June, 1936 - November, 1936" The first six issues of the magazine have been combined into one large book (205 pages) compiled by Benjamin J. Bernhart, and published in 2005. Only 500 copies of the book were published; this one is #134, as you can see on my scan #2. Mr. Bernhart has also signed that page of the book in black ink... The book contains many, many interesting news stories about The Reading Railroad and The Jersey Central Railroad, and it also contains more than 600 black & white photographs (all taken in 1936) of locomotives, trains, railroad employees, foremen, administrators, and much more, with each photgraph having a caption below or next to it. The book is 18 years old, and it is in very-near-to-mint condition, with just some very, very minor damage on the tips of the top right and the bottom right corners of the front cover. There is no soiling, no ctreaes or tears on any of the pages, no writing on any of the pages, etc. Buyer pays $4.50 shipping...
