Boasting neck-through construction, this Rhoads is ostensibly a one-off, custom-ordered instrument, offering great natural sustain and resonance. A high gain favorite, the EMG 81 bridge position humbucker utilizes ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, designed for optimal note detail, enhanced high end cut, and fluid sustain, engineered so that lead work will slice through even the densest mix with an aggressive snarl. This Rhoads is also outfitted with a two-way Afterburner-style Boost control, for extra oomph at the flip of a switch.
