Description: This is an old hardcover book with dust jacket, , 9 1/4" x 6 1/4", 232 pages, entitled "FREDDY'S WAR: The Civil War Letters Of John Frederick Frueauff" (Frueauff was from Bethlehem, Pa.) The book was compiled & edited by Daniel R. Gilbert Sr., it is copyright 2006, and published by Moravian College. Bethlehem, Pa. it is signed and inscribed by the author on page one; "With best regards to one of the Moravian family -- Daniel Gilbert" (see my scan #2). Scan "3 is the front end flap of the dust jacket. It contains some good information about the book's contents. Scan 4 is some information about the author, and scan 5 is the boiok's back cover... The book is 17 years old, and it is in very-near-to-mint condition. There is no soiling, no crases on any of the pages, no rips or tears, no writing on any of the pages, no damage of any kind! The dust jacket has no rips or tears, and no damage. The only "issue" with the book is that on the top edge of page one (a blank page) a former owner of the book has glued a 2" x 1" return address label with his name & address printed on it.
