Description: This is a 2006 Base Model MacBook with an Intel Core Duo processor, 80 GB HDD, and 2 GB RAM. This Mac also comes with MacOS Snow Leopard (10.6.8) installed. Cosmetically, the laptop has the normal wear and tear of an 18 year old plastic laptop with scratches on the base and a crack near the trackpad covered with tape. There are a couple issues with this laptop. One is that the CD/DVD drive does not work. It will not attempt to read discs and eventually ejects the disc by itself. Also I don't know if this is the laptop not cooperating with my Wi-Fi or not but it likes to disconnect from Wi-Fi and it requires turning off the Airport card and turning it back on to use Wi-Fi again. As far as practicality, this laptop is vintage and should be used as such. Since this laptop is 18 years old, it can only go up to MacOS Snow Leopard and its weak amount of RAM and Processor does not make this practical in the modern world. The internet experience isn't exactly smooth given the internet issue. This could be used to type offline documents or play light vintage gaming. The battery in this laptop is original and still holds a charge. It only has a cycle count of 145. But I cannot verify battery duration on a single charge.
