Description: 2009 P & D ROOSEVELT DIME "SATIN FINISH" FREE SHIPPING! MUST SEE BEAUTIFUL Click images to enlarge Description Up for auction today is a group is TWO beautiful SATIN FINISH 2009 P & D ROOSEVELT DIMES. These BU GEMS are still in their original mint "cello/plastic" packaging from the United States Mint. I hate when I buy "cello" coins and they fall out of the cello. So when I cut open a mint set I will take the time to seal all the edges to keep the coin from being exposed to the air. It's very time consuming but I am willing to do it to insure that you get a fresh "cello" coin that will not tarnish. Take a look the pictures and you can see for yourself what a beautiful pair of dimes these are. FREE SHIPPING! EVER WONDERED WHY THE SAME COIN CAN BE SEVERAL DIFFERENT COLORS? The answer is actually very simple. The coin is always the same color, it just APPEARS to be a different color the closer I move my black camera in to get a close-up picture of the coin. Many times these coins have mirror like finishes. So whatever is reflecting off the coin will be picked up. Many times it is the black or darkness of my camera. Other times it is flesh tones from my arms. That is why I always take a picture from a distance away from the coin so you can get an "unreflective" picture so-to-speak. The closer I get the darker the picture becomes because it is reflecting my black camera. My camera is also blocking most of the light out. Auction Payments Must Be Made Within 48 Hours of Close of Auction Shipping REGARDING MINT SET COINS THE PROBLEM IS THE PLASTIC USED BY U.S. MINT - THE SOLUTION- HOT GLUE: Since 2007 the United States Mint has been packaging the yearly mint sets in "plastic" instead of "cellophane" like they did for the previous 40 or 50 years. This has made it extremely if not impossible to cut the individual coins out of each mint set without exposing that coin to the moisture in the air for any length of time. Many times when you cut out a coin the plastic will just fall apart or just fall off the coin. So to solve that problem you will note that on all the coins that I cut from mint sets I will take the time and hot glue the exposed edges of the plastic so that they stay air tight for years to come. I do this within minutes of cutting them from the mint set. I do it in such a way that the plastic stays on the coin and the coin is not exposed to the air. That way when the collector buys the coin either next week or in twenty years it is as "fresh" if it was just cut from the mint set today. Just like when they were cut from the old "cello" mint sets. COMBINED SHIPPING: Yes, I will combine shipping for lower price. The total depends on how many items you win. I will let you know. *SHIPPING ADDRESS MUST BE VERIFIED BY USPS: Starting immediately for auction items that have FREE shipping or shipping from $0.99 to $1.59 the address the buyer provides must be verified by the United States Postal Service (USPS). If the address provided by the buyer is different then the one that the USPS says is the correct shipping address, the sale will either be (1) cancelled or (2) the buyer given the opportunity to pay a shipping charge that provides a tracking number, because a tracking number is NOT provided at these shipping prices. **BUYER REQUIREMENTS: Starting immediately for a Buyer to buy an auction item that has FREE shipping or the reduced shipping charge of $0.99 to $1.59 the Buyer must meet the following minimum requirements: (1) have a minimum positive feedback score of 25 or more, and/or (2) been signed up as a buyer with Ebay for over (1) year with a positive feedback score of 5 or more. If buyer does not meet one of these minimum requirements then the sale will either be (1) cancelled or (2) the buyer given the opportunity to pay a shipping charge that provides a tracking number. The reason for this new rule is because there are some dishonest people signing up for Ebay just to make purchases of coins and then claim that the packages never arrived because they took advantage of the "free" or "discounted" shipping charges. So to prevent that from happening the "new" buyers will either have to prove that they have an established track record with Ebay or pay for shipping that provides a tracking number. This helps prevent fraud and protects everyone involved. ITEM MUST NOT BE OPENED. If opened, then NO RETURN. No exceptions. RETURN SHIPPING: BUYER PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING unless I made a mistake. If I make a mistake I will pay. You CAN RETURN THE ITEM. No problem BUT YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING and you are going to follow Ebay's rules. Which means that the item "cannot be opened" for one. That is only fair. CONDITION/GRADE: I provide clear, detailed, focused, HD, close-up pictures of the ACTUAL coins you are bidding on and will receive. It is up to you to decide what the grade or condition is.
