(We also have a smaller version KF998S https://www.ebay.com/itm/176457764620)I have tried this knife and I can tell you that this (bunka) shape is more functional, efficient and precise with the improved tip. ****There is food safe coating on the surface of CCK carbon steel knives, wash it off with hot water or just let it wear off overtime. The coating maybe applied slightly unevenly. It is not a defect. *CCK cleavers are made as great performer only. Sometimes there might be slight colour variation and slightly rougher finishing on the handle and the blade. It is not considered a defect.
