20.5" RARE Queen Elizabeth doll by Schoenau & Hoffmeister, c1930 (D-58)

Description: This rare doll has a bisque socket head and a 15 piece composition body. She is modeled after Queen Elizabeth at about age three.The porcelain head is in beautiful condition with no visible cracks or chips. The light blue sleep eyes are in good working condition. Her composition body shows age-related wear and some cracking on the right leg. The joints work well, but are a little loose. Information that came with her says she was sculpted by Caesar Schneider for the Schoenau & Hoffmeister company in Germany.
