Given its 2.194-2.900MHz frequency range, it is also a good antenna for other wireless applications that are in need of a sturdy mobile antenna that will work with other wireless networks that operate within its 2.2-2.9GHz frequency range. The NMO mount and cable is NOT included. - - There are so many different mounting options and applications out there that it would be impractical for me to supply this antenna with the exact mounting package you would need for your particular application or vehicle. FYI - The most popular type of NMO Mount requested has been a Magnetic Mount rated for use with 2194MHz-2900MHz frequency band. We have a very limited supply of a Premium Grade, 698MHz - 3,000MHz rated, PCTEL High Performance Magnetic Mount Antenna Base in our eBay Store. You will have to purchase the NMO mount required for your particular application/vehicle/installation separately. Fortunately, there are many NMO style mounts available on eBay. Do a search on eBay for "NMO mounts", just be sure that the mount you are looking at is rated to encompass the frequencies you will be operating at. A 1-1/8"-18 NMO style mount provisioned with a 50 ohm impedance cable, rated for use at the 2200-2900MHz frequency band that this antenna operates at, should be used with this antenna... For optimum results avoid using mounts with cables that are rated for the 0-1000MHz frequency range. I would recommend the use of NMO mounts that are provisioned with a Low Loss LMR-195 cable if you will only require the antenna to operate at up to 2,500 MHz for your application (Example: 2.4GHz Wi-Fi) -OR- a LMR-240 cable if you require the antenna to operate up to 3,000 MHz (Example: 2.5-2.7GHz WiMAX, or 2.2-2.9GHz LTE)... they will provide you with the optimum performance characteristics required to use this antenna. NMO mounts come in a variety of types and are frequently used especially when installing mobile antennas. Whether you are installing an antenna on a vehicle or a fixed structure the NMO mount may be a good solution.The idea of the NMO mount is simple. NMO mounts are devised to have a standard threaded connector where you screw this antenna on to the NMO mount of choice. The NMO mount base assembly itself connects to the antenna and is typically provisioned with the antenna cable as well.The first image is of an antenna with an NMO base.
