It will not fit R65LS 1981-1984 and R65 R45 1981-1986] Remark: For reference and verification purpose, I am including a picture of the R65 /5 R45 78-81 model. It'll helping you to verify your seat model. Otherwise, you maybe get a wrong model. This is a short seat with 2 J-hooks and pin-lock. The seat pan is flat and 24 inches long. The loop frame must modified shorter than 24 inches to accept this seat. The seat will covering around your new modified sub-frame. Fitment: NOT Directly fitting on the bike. You need to make the sub-frame shorter at the rear end. The seat is correctly fitting with mounting J-hooks and pin lock.
