It is the 5c Circus Wagon from the fourth transportation issue 1990 to 1995. They were the fifty-third, sixtieth and sixty-second coil stamps added to the set. The design was changed to eliminate misuse by adding the ¢ symbol. Stamps with denominations like 05 (five cent) turned upside down look like 50 cents. Scott 2452B (gravure) is often confused/substituted with common low gloss 2452al (engraved) by uninformed sellers. We have taken away any guesswork and guarantee 100% accuracy in description and condition. We occasionally use Brookman minor numbers like "l" and "v" for variety because Scott numbers are inadequate. Technically, 2452l is not a real number but useful to identify this variety. All eight stamps are described by Scott as the color 'carmine' but there are definite shade variations across the set. If you purchase 2 sets we will automatically ship pairs.
