Description: 25 Lbs Gold Ore) Blue Mountain Mine High Grade Gravel Size Pieces Size of Ore shipped: 1/2" and under Assays: Around 1 ounce per ton Hauled out of our mine by us. Copper Gold Deposit. I will not guarantee any gold will be recovered, but please refer to my youtube video on the 25-pound sample I crushed and sliced. That is roughly the amount of gold to be speculated. Search drylakeminingco 25 pound sample in YouTube. https://youtu.be/5meu9J6bm2Q?si=3UWXyTMCSeA0YISk I am not like other paydirt sellers. This is not salted paydirt. Quartz vein Lode deposit hard rock ore. Gold is 30 mesh minus, almost microscopic at times. Known to be best recovered with mercury or cyanide. That being said, the free mill nature of this gold is a good thing. It is possible to crush and pan with due diligence and jet dry to break surface tension. This ore does contain visible gold, but this vein has variables. I have run the ore through a jaw crusher and have gotten the size of rock down to 1/2" and under. I have not run into too much chalcopyrite, but it is spotty present in the ore. This is not a high sulfidation deposit. Gold found is extremely clean and pure, for the most part, free milling. Vindictive of California desert gold. This is a realistic depiction of mining. Grades run from 1/4 ounce to 1 ounce per ton of ore crushed. If you are looking to find a bunch of gold in your order, you have come to the wrong place. If you want real ore and real gold for the amount processed, from a natural Quartz vein from a real gold mine. You have come to the right place. This kind of purchase would be for your educational purposes. I am not trying to get rich selling rock from the mine. This purchase could help those getting into hard rock mining gain a realistic understanding of just how much gold one could expect to recover from 25 pounds of ore, that assayed around 1/4- 1 ounce per ton. Smelting and cupelling with a lead litharge is possible, but not the most efficient. Mercury in small rock tumbler with steel balls will yield best results. Small bb sized ball of amalgam would be around average result. Panning takes much patience and practice. You will probably lose some of that microscopic gold with panning but will catch bigger pieces. Leaching or aqua regia method can be done, or a weak sulphuric acid leach to extract Cooper. Like I said earlier, I can't guarantee there will be any gold present, I am just going off of my experience with this ore after 5 years of experience. Happy prospecting, and if you have any questions, let me know.
