Description: 25+ TOTAL COLOR VARIETIES Fresh Succulent Leave CuttingsYOU WILL RECEIVE LEAVES ONLY Includes my BEST COLOR varieties.Leaves vary in size from 1/2" to sometimes over 3"I always send extras In this collection you will find leaves of varied sizes, shapes and textures, from plants that are large or stay small, and rosettes, striped, variegated, tipped, and fuzzy.Colors include white, blues, purples, oranges, reds, pinks and more! Photo #2 shows 50 color leaves and shows a representation of the varieties. Note: I harvest MATURE leaves which may or may not reflect the overall color of the growing plant but are PERFECT for rooting. For example a muted tone or grayish leaf may actually be froman overall blue or purple plant harvested from the bottom of the plant. Some might even be scarred and ugly but from past experience Iknow these are the fastest to root. COMBINED SHIPPING AND VOLUME DISCOUNT FOR ONE OR MORE ORDERS Directions: Starting succulents from leaves is incredibly rewarding as well asan inexpensive way to begin or expand your varieties. You should get an 80% success rate. NOTE: The growing tip is the end of the leave that was attached to the stem. The new plant will emerge here on most leaves. Don't worry if leaves are sitting for few days until you plant them. Also, if you receive wilted leaves after arrival, simply soak the leaves in water for about 15 min. 1. Prepare a shallow container (1 to 2" deep) with succulent soil. I use pie tins or the plastic containers left over from food products. Poke holes for drainage. 2. Place leaves with growing end BARELY buried in soil. See photos. Some growers place leaves on top of soil without burying growing end. Others plant leaves upside down to make sure the growing tip is in contact with soil. 3. LIGHTLY spray with water and place in area with good light. 4. Gently spray with water every FEW days ONLY IF SOIL IS DRY. Sometimes leaves and/or plantletsget dislodged and you will have to adjust them to make sure roots are buried in soil. 5. In about 2 weeks you could see signs of growth on some of the leaves (usually tiny roots followed by leaf buds). Some leaves take a LONG time to sprout. I usually have about an 80% success rate using the buried end method if you cankeep the soil dry between waterings. 6. When plants are established, the original leaf usually slowly withers and dies. The new baby plant will be sucking nutrients and water from the starter leaf. 7. As your leaves form new plants, be sure to remove decayed leaves that never got started and decayed leaves of rooted plants being careful not to dislodge any roots that may be attached. 8. Be patient and you will be rewarded with many new plants. Recent feedback for this auction: "Nicely packed, Nice leaf size, more than described. Received quickly. Thanks."
