Description: Up for sale is an all handmade 26mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap. The glove used for this strap was a vintage Bob Tillman Twin Action catcher’s mitt/ baseball glove. There’s something about the leather they used for these older mitts. While being super soft, it feels like a different hide than they use now. It’s soft, but more substantial. Bob Tillman played for the Boston Red Sox for 5 years, the NY Yankees for a year and the Atlanta Braves for 2 years. This super soft baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 90 mm x 143 mm x ~4.4 mm thick. I saddle stitched this strap with Havana Cigar brown Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available. This strap features the “Bob Tillman Autograph Model” logo on the short side and the small “Air Lite” cloud on the long side. The strap comes with two floating keepers, “Twin” and “Action”. The first hole is 55mm from the lug end. Normally I start at 50mm, but I wanted to avoid the logo on this strap. Extra holes can be punched upon request. The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style bronze buckle. I also have custom Mott stainless steel buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown. Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap. Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.
