Description: 3 gorgeous antique bread & butter plates made by an unknown maker from Limoges, France, for A. Stowell & Co. a jewelry and fine housewares store operating in Boston, MA in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The mark on the backs dates these delicate porcelain plates to the early 1900s. The pattern features a gold encrusted and filigree border, on a white ground with a gold floral filigree medallion in the center. These plates measure 6 1/4" in diameter. Two are in excellent condition with no issues: one has a tiny flake on the back edge and minor gold loss in the center.
