Description: These fine china mugs were sold by UNICEF, probably in the 1980s. They were made in Japan and the floral designs are in a Japanese style. The flowers are a red begonia, a blue iris, and a pink poppy. The plants are outlined and highlighted in gold. The mugs were rimmed with gold at the top, but this has worn away except for small areas near the handle. The mugs are clean and in good condition with no cracks, chips, scratches or stains. They are 4 inches tall with a bottom diameter of 2" and a top diameter of 2 3/4" and they hold 8 ounces.
