We have chosen the crimp+solder method for a lifetime solid connection. The RG-8X coax chosen is the American made TAC Brand with 96% solid copper braid shielding and a 16 AWG, 19/29 stranded copper center conductor for high flexibility. The nominal velocity Factor is 82% indicating a higher quality, minimal loss RG-8X coax.
