This rig is not only very versatile but it also offers you excellent hooking potential as it gives you an indication if you have been "done" by a carp due to the unique setup. If a carp has picked up your bait and hooked itself but managed to get rid of the hook you will be able to tell as your bait will now be sat at the bottom of the hook shank - Please see the top two pictures to the left which shows a before and after of what that would look like. This can be cast hard and far and the bait will always be on the shank where you positioned it as the hook would have to be pulled tight against the lead to move the bait on the shank so you can have total confidence that this is presented well for you. If a bird was to pick up the hookbait for instance it wouldn't effect the rig at all as the hook would be untouched and would reset once dropped back onto the lakebed."This can be used with Popups, Wafters or Bottom baits which again makes this rig very versatile" The Boom section is created with 25lb Fluorocarbon which is tangle free and invisible underwater.
