Description: Here are 3 old photos glued to the paper page of an old photo album. One features a man and his dog, under which is written: Philip Ruffle. The middle photo features a man and woman, under this photo is written: Philip Ruffle Margaret (Lorah) Ruffle. The last photo features a little frame cabin with the woods behind it. Below this photo is written:: The cabin of which I had wonderful times Lake Muskoday, New York. I did some research and found that Philip Ruffle was born in New York in 1891, the son of Simon and Mary (Blum) Ruffle. Margaret Lorah was born in 1892 in Boyertown, PA, the daughter of Ezra and Savannah (Sassaman) Lorah. She was a nurse, and served in WWI. They were married in September of 1928, they were living in Binghamton, NY at the time of their marriage. Philip died in 1960 in Liberty, NY, and Margaret in 1983, also in Liberty, NY. They are buried in Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown, Berks County, PA. The photos are glued to what looks like an old photo album page. The photos are nice, but the one of the cabin has a crease in the middle of it, the one of the man and the dog also has a crease in the side. The photo in the middle looks like the sides were cut down to fit in between the other two photos. The photo album page has discoloration and has rough edges and corners. The back of the page had something stuck to it but was removed before I got it. Nice photos for anyone researching the Ruffle or Lorah families. Postage will be 4.70 to the U. S. IF OUTSIDE THE U.
