All blades are very sharp, but could still use a proper sharpening. All knives have beautiful oak handles. All handles have great color, and a very nice grain pattern. All knives are 3 brass pins, full tang, large oak handles. All blades have scratches, from normal use, and also scratches, from sharpening. All oak handles have minimal scratches, and marks, from normal use. The carving knife, blade has some nicks, a proper sharpening will take care of that.
