Rotate the Pulley Step 2: Rotate the pulley to be 5 or 6 o’clock position and slide the belt over the balancer (Crankshaft pulley).Step 3: Once you have your socket and ratchet on the main bolt of the crankshaft begin to rotate in a clockwise fashion.It also help if you pull on the belt in the upward position so there is more tension on the belt and it will catch on the ac compressor.
