James Carter was born in 1917. He was an only child as best I can tell ~ and had a privileged youth ~ doted on by both his parents. They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas. This great set of 35 original photos shows the golden days of his youth. The photos, probably most all of them, were taken by his father. The post office ads on TV say things can ship for $5.95. A: Shipping and postage rates have gone way up over recent times. While some small things may indeed fit in that tiny flat rate box, most anything will need some sort of packaging materials to protect it, and that means a bigger box. We refuse to ship anything that's not safely packed, and sometimes that also means a bigger box.
