Bouma 1921-2009, avid amateur yet skilled photographer with more detail below.*** Mr. Bouma was born December 10, 1921 in Grinnell, Iowa where he was a Grinnell College graduate and received his master's in music education from the University of Iowa. He began teaching in Iowa and Colorado public schools and retired in Albuquerque after teaching in Alamogordo, Los Lunas and Jemez Springs. Mr. Bouma was a past Master of Masonic Lodge #60, and belonged to the Scottish and York Rite Temples. He had been active as a member of the Lions Club and as a Boy Scout leader for decades and photographed BSA camps and Jamborees. He served in the Army during WWII.
