Weighs around 3 pounds. Some rust, but in decent shape. Lathe or saw cut. Hot rolled and annealed, meaning that it is as soft as you can make it for machinability. Can be easily heat treated. Otherwise, they have an excellent strength to weight ratio and are considerably stronger and harder than standard 1020 steel. 4140 steel rounds are perfect for small projects. Can be machined or welded or forged. Due to material handling and processing items may have light scratching. Raw Material is not meant to have a finished cosmetic look. Combined Shipping: We do offer combined shipping if you purchase multiple pieces at the same time.
