Description: 42RE 4x4 Jeep Overdrive COMPLETE, including all factory spec clutches, steels, and hard parts in pressed together assembly, a new, upgraded wave/snap ring which is the most common failure item in these overdrives, and new brake (upper) clutches & steels. Completed unit is shipped with a 'half-shaft' inserted during assembly to keep internals from shifting during handling. It simply slides out prior to installation and eliminates a serious headache when installing the finished overdrive to your transmission.
