The axle is 30mm long and 1mm in diameter. These fit perfectly in the front axle holes. There are small grooves in the axles, I use them, I do not see a difference. I've sent a few of these out to some people that have purchased rivets to get their opinion. No one seems to complain about the performance. Attached are some photos with the AFX chassis to show how well the axle fits. (Chassis and extra axles not included in this listing)
