Description: 56 Large Mixture Greetings Antique Postcards.ARTIST SIGNED. Landscapes, People This is a nice selection of GREETINGS postcards that were to be sent out for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP. The postcards are mostly ANTIQUE from the early 1900s as well as a few VINTAGE. All of these postcards are ARTIST SIGNED. This is a very nice mixture and it includes postcards that show: LANDSCAPES< PRETTY LADIES, SEASCAPES, RELIGIOUS, HUMOR / COMIC, HOME SCENES, PEOPLE, PETS, FLOWERS, MESSAGES, etc. Many of these are in the PAINTINGS STYLE, and quite attractive. This is a nice large lot that will be a pleasure to look through. They are nicely drawn, and they have pleasing colors. The postcards are mostly flat printed. The postcards are from different publishers. They were mostly published in the 1906 - 1920 era, and there are a few from the 1940-60 era. These are good postcards to add to a collection because of their attractive nature. They would appeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the artistic style used back in the early 1900s, and how they show a glimpse of life back then. They have good detail, which makes them pleasing to look at. Overall, a nice selection of Greetings postcards that are Artist Signed. The postcards are UNPOSTED (34) and POSTED (22). Some of the early published postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They mostly have DIVIDED backs, with 4 having UNDIVIDED backs. These are BETTER postcards and good for a collector. They will keep their value! They are in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age (over 100 years old!), please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed. Look closely at the photos we provide to see all of the postcards and an example of the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS Ground Advantage when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz. We combine shipping whenever possible. If you purchase multiple lots, you can wait and we will send you an invoice for the combined shipping before you pay.
