As described below, this is the original 6 CD Box Set, issued by Deutsche Grammophon in 1986 with the extensive 140 page libretto / booklet. Excepting for one flaw, the Set is in like new condition. When originally issued, Deutsche Grammophon included a few foam pieces presumably as protection between the CD's in their cases. Over time, these foam pieces have deteriorated and have left a residue on the front faces of some of the CD's. Fortunately, the back sides (the playing sides) were not affected so that the playback quality remains NM.
