Description: These 6 large 5 x 7" cards were meant to be placed in the front of the dye cabinets under glass. They are in excellent condition only showing light signs of wear. Lovely illustrations of children in all seasons. Although unsigned, the illustrations were done by Maud Humphrey (Bogart). Her son was actor Humphrey Bogart. She lived from 1868 to 1940 and was one of the most popular Victorian commercial illustrators, sleeping only 5 hours a night so she could keep up on all the orders she received for her illustrations. Advertising on reverse from Wells & Richardson Co, Burlington, VT and Diamond Dyes, 124 College St, Burlington, VT. Hard to find all 6 at the same time AND in very good to excellent condition! Slight crease on one of them. Please ask all questions that you might have before purchasing, making an offer, or placing a bid. Payment accepted through eBay/PayPal only. I only ship to the continental US. Currently, if I do not receive payment within 4 days from the end of the auction, eBay will automatically re-list the item. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the item when you receive it, please contact me immediately. Thank you so very much for your interest!
