Description: 6 RARE Silver Plated? Civil War Coat & Cuff Buttons Horstmann Bros & Allien NY This is for six very RARE buttons which look to be silver plated.The coat button appears to be more silvery than the smaller buttons which may or may not be plated.These were found in a tin with several other antique buttons.The backs are marked " Horstmann Bros & Allien NY ". The buttons were manufactured between 1852 and 1877.The coat button measures approx. 23mm and the cuff buttons measure approx. 15mm. The condition is pretty amazing for their age...of course they are not perfect; Please refer to photos.
