Description: Tamasan siratamako ( white mochi ball flour ) / 200 gram × 7 packages made in Japan Siratama is made of mochi rice ( glutinous rice ) that is enjoyed in Japan as one of the finest symbol of the Japanese traditional sweets. In winter, it is often eaten with hot azuki red beans which is called oshiruko or zenzai. ( siratama is softer than ordinary mochi ) This siratamako is 100 % made of mochi rice that is grown and harvested in Japan. How to eat : ① Put 200 g of this shiratamako in a bowl. Pour 190 ml of water over them little by little while kneading them until they become as soft as earlobes.② Roll them up with hands into small balls ( as small as ping pong ball or smaller as you like ). Put them in boiled water, keep boiling them until they float to the surface of the water.③ In a couple of minutes after floating, then ladle them out of the boiled water and put them into another bowl of cold water.④ Dip them out of the cold water, then it's done!⑤ Eat them as you like such as with azuki red beans ( ice cream, oshiruko, zenzai, etc ) or put them in soup, or with fruits as fancy dessert.
