Description: You are bidding on a Original & Rare 7" x 9" Publicity Press Photo Portrait of Actor Lew Cody from 1927 dated Apr '27. This is a great piece of movie magic. It is not in perfect condition but I would consider at least in fair condition. It has normal wear from being shuffled about and it also has residue on the backside from where they hung it in the lobby of the theatre. I'm not a professional grader but please look at the photo before buying. Ask questions if you have any. I sell ONE, the actual ORIGINAL photo and do not copy to sell quantities like many of the so called historical dealers who just copy images. This is a pretty amazing piece of Movie Memorabilia. This was owned by a theatre back east. I bought a huge a collection of photos and that was the selling point (many of the photos were hanging in the theatre at some point in time) as some were actually marked with the theatre name. I cannot remember the name of the theatre as I purchased this collection years ago and sold much of it off. If you check out my other photos, you will see more vintage pics like this....some were cut in strange shapes but again I was told they were hanging in frames in the lobby and so forth. If you love vintage and more importantly "original 1st generation" photos for affordable prices....check all the one's I have for sale. These are great for any collectors of movie memorabilia. You will seldom ever see any publicity photos like the ones I am listing!!! I bet you can't.....certainly NOT 1st generation pics either. So buy it NOW!!!
