Description: DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ITEM/S: This came off one of our 1979 Camaros. This will fit 70-81 Camaros, Firebirds, and Trans Ams. This is a drum brake, 10 bolt, posi, please see photos. The gear ratio is 3.73. This gear is part number 3988517. This rear end spins nice, there is some rust on the housing but it is pretty normal. There is a broken bolt in the housing where the cover mounts, please see pictures. I would also recommend giving this a new brake job. One of the backing plates is pretty bent up and might need replaced. Local pickup is always welcomed and FREE, or I can arrange to freight it out, probably around $150.00- $250.00? depending on how far you are from our shop.
