Description: Superb HUGE 8-FOOT Animated Santa Claus Mechanical Window Store Display!! Works really well and in excellent condition for his age. Santa's arms and head move in a calm and controlled manner (see video). I was told Santa was created in the 1950's - 60s and that he was used as a department store window display. I believe he may have had some mechanical adjustments (regular maintenance) over the years but I say that only because he is in such extraordinary condition both inside and out. His face is truly incredible and has such tremendous details. He is super clean with very little wear. I've seen lots and lots of animated Santa window displays in my 30 plus years of collecting but none come close to the uniqueness of this guy, especially his outstanding size. He is truly a wonderful and super rare example of Christmas history! Please ask any questions you may have. In-person pickup is recommended but will ship by freight if necessary.
